Biodiversity day 22 May 2021

International Day for Biological Diversity 2021: Biodiversity plays a major role in maintaining the balance of the earth. It is the foundation of ecosystem services to which human well-being is intimately linked. All the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria make up our natural world.

Each of these species and organisms works together in ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life. If one of them gets extinct, then others will start getting endangered too.

International Day for Biological Diversity 2021: Theme

Every year there is a specific theme for International Day for Biological Diversity 2021. This year, 2021, the theme is "We're part of the solution".

From nature-based solutions to climate, health issues, food and water security, and sustainable livelihoods, biodiversity is the foundation upon which we can build back better.

As part of the day , Natural Science department conducted a inter training college caption writing competition.

First prize got to shrimati.Aswany Prasannan from SN Training college, Nedunganda.
